Vernan is a Principal at Catalyst and has over five years' experience in finance, M&A and transaction services.

He works alongside our Partners and Directors to deliver all types of deals including company acquisitions and disposals, management buy-outs (MBOs), fund raisings and strategic reviews, acting for business owners, management teams, corporates and private equity.​ 

Vernan has supported the delivery of a number of transactions including the management buy-outs of FMP Global and Human Capital Investment Group, the secondary management buy-outs of Aspen Pumps and Alcumus, the acquisition of Santia by Alcumus, the growth capital investment in Coryton Advanced Fuels and the minority investment in Efficio.

He is also a member of Catalyst's Consumer sector team.

Vernan graduated from Manchester University with a degree in Management Accounting & Finance. He qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC, where he worked in transaction services with a focus on the retail, consumer and leisure sectors. Vernan joined Catalyst in 2014.

Away from Catalyst Vernan enjoys sports, especially basketball and football.
