Paul is a Director at Catalyst and has built his extensive commercial and corporate finance experience through roles in industry, Government advisory and professional services.

Paul has completed a wide range of deal types in a number of sectors. Highlights include the sales of Air Dispatch to dnata, CP Electronics to Legrand, Kustom Signals to US-based MPD Inc and Powwownow to US-based PGi Inc, the acquisition of Public Safety Equipment International by US-based ECCO Group, the debt-funded management buy-out of XLN Business Services, the investment in Global Freight Solutions, and the growth capital investments in Coryton Advanced FuelsCitySprint and Aero Technics.

A masters graduate of Nottingham University, Paul trained as a chartered accountant with Deloitte, moving after six years to Arbuthnot Securities, where he worked in corporate finance advising high-growth companies. Prior to joining Catalyst in 2011, Paul worked as a consultant to the Government on the Automotive Assistance Fund.

As a London resident, Paul enjoys heading out to the country in his free time, preferably with a mountain bike or skis for company.
