Mike is a Principal at Catalyst and has 11 years' experience in financial management and corporate finance.

Mike works alongside our Partners and Directors to deliver all types of deals including company acquisitions and disposals, management buy-outs (MBOs), fund raisings and strategic reviews, acting for private business owners, management teams, corporates and private equity.​

Recent deals include the management buy-out of Addo Food Group, the investment in CSI by MML Partners, the growth capital investment in Exclaimer by Livingbrige and the sale of Air Dispatch, part of the Chapman Freeborn Group, to dnata, which is owned by the Emirates Group.

Mike is also a member of Catalyst's Industrials sector team

An accounting and finance graduate from the University of Birmingham, Mike qualified as a chartered accountant with Baker Tilly in 2006. Before joining Catalyst, he spent seven years at Deloitte, where he was an assistant director in the transaction Services and Restructuring team. He also spent 12 months on secondment to LDC, where he supported the Southern region’s existing assets and acquisitions portfolio.

In his spare time, Mike enjoys travelling and playing in a band. He is also a keen sportsman, particularly enjoying football.
