Hamish is a Partner at Catalyst and has over 20 years of M&A experience gained within industry, investment banking and mid-market corporate finance advisory.

Hamish has extensive experience of the Media and Telecoms sectors having been Head of European Mid-Cap TMT Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch prior to his time at Capstan. During his ten years at Merrills he worked with clients such as BSkyB, Deutsche Telekom, the Guardian, Virgin Media, France Telecom and Hutchison Whampoa. At Capstan, where Hamish was Partner and Head of M&A Advisory, his focus was on mid-market transactions within the UK and European TMT sectors.

Hamish co-leads Catalyst's TMT sector team and has a particular focus on the Media and Telecoms sectors.
