Emmet is a Director at Catalyst having joined the firm ten years ago as a member of our Research Team.

He is one of Catalyst’s most experienced deal executors, having worked with each of the partners over the last ten years.

Recent transactions include advising GI Solutions Group on the acquisition of the Eclipse Group; the growth capital investment in Exclaimer; and the sales of Adapt to US-based Datapipe, Fleet Hire to Australia-based SG Fleet Group, Texon to South-East Asia-based Navis Capital Partners, Bluefin Solutions to India-based Mindtree, Shimtech Industries to Auctus Industries, Williams Medical Supplies to DCC plc, and Rhead Group to Costain PLC.

Emmet works closely with Jamie Hope, both in the TMT sector and West Midlands regional market, advising business owners and management teams on private equity, growth capital and trade sale transactions.

A graduate of Manchester University, Emmet qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte in their TMT sector team, prior to joining Catalyst in 2006.

Emmet says he enjoys watching football, although as a Coventry fan, this is difficult to believe. Married with three young children, he will probably pass this affliction onto them.
