Adam advises Catalyst’s Industrial sector team.

Adam has over 35 years’ experience across a range of industrial and manufacturing businesses, from SMEs to global multi-nationals. Most recently he led Business Development (including M&A origination activity) at Ametek, Inc., the leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices. Adam moved into this role following Ametek’s acquisition of Taylor Hobson, where he had been Business Development Director for six years. Previous roles include Managing Director at BRUSH Group, a leading independent solutions provider to global energy sectors and 15 years at Schlumberger, the world's leading provider of technology for reservoir characterization, drilling, production, and processing to the oil and gas industry.

He currently serves as Non-Executive Chairman on the HR4UK Board, an HR outsourcing company, and is a Non-Executive Director at Specialised Imaging Ltd, a privately-owned manufacturer of ultra-high-speed imaging systems.

Adam has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Cambridge University and an MBA from INSEAD.

Away from work, Adam is a keen fellwalker, exploring the mountains of Cumbria from his home in the Lake District, occasionally tackling them by bike instead of on foot.
