Catalyst shortlisted for Private Equity Awards' UK Corporate Finance Adviser of the Year

Catalyst Corporate Finance has again been shortlisted for the Private Equity Awards’ UK Corporate Finance Adviser of the Year 2017, an award which the firm won in 2016.

The Awards, hosted by Real Deals, are the most respected accolades bestowed on the private equity industry and those that advise it. They stand apart in both the rigour of the judging and the prestige they hold within the industry. The winners are decided by a judging panel of leading industry practitioners alongside research from Cass Business School.

2016 was another successful year for Catalyst advising on deals with a combined value of over £1.5 billion. These deals included the growth capital investment in CitySprint, the sale of CP Electronics to Legrand, the sale of Adapt to Datapipe, an exit for Lyceum and the SMBO of Steelite International. This nomination reflects the continued growth of Catalyst and its private equity work as the firm expands and builds on its strong reputation for delivering deals.

Andy Currie, Managing Partner at Catalyst, commented:

“I am delighted we have made the shortlist once more for this prestigious award. This nomination reflects the work of all our team and the investment we continue to make in our people and expertise, which resulted in another strong performance in 2016. We are continuing our work with private equity in 2017 having completed a number of deals recently with more in the pipeline which are due to be announced shortly”
