Catalyst advised MBO of Westleigh Partnerships wins Deal of the Year

The £65m management buy-out of Westleigh Partnerships, in which Catalyst Corporate Finance advised Palatine Private Equity, won the ‘Deal of the Year Award’ at the Insider East Midlands Dealmakers Awards held in Nottingham on Thursday 25 May 2017.

Westleigh is one of the leading constructors of affordable housing across the Midlands region. Based in Leicestershire, Westleigh produces affordable new homes across the Midlands and beyond, ensuring the delivery of sustainable communities and quality homes that meet local needs. Their unique, land-led approach and in-house timber frame production ensures it is achieving market-leading margins.

Established in 1985 as a commercial property developer by Chris and Judy Brighton, Westleigh entered the housing market in 1992. Since then the company has grown turnover to almost £100 million, and in the last five years has delivered over 80 affordable schemes for more than 20 Registered Providers.
